A festivities that break with the monotony based on color
The Town Hall of the Villa de Moya, a municipality located in a unique enclave on the island of Gran Canaria, wanted to do something special in the Fontanales neighborhood for the patron saint festivities of San Bartolomé.
Tired of the typical village festivities, it was proposed to revitalize its population through sports to offer a celebration experience.
After analyzing the context of the situation and the target audience of the town hall, Sportmadness designed a race of colors that crossed the streets of Fontanales, bringing together adults and children to have a great time.
With this aim of celebration for all in mind, two 1 km routes were created (for children up to 10 years) and 4km (for the rest of the ages), also eliminating the timing in this race mode to allow attendees to They could complete enjoying at their own pace.
The event started with a Zumba zone at the start of the race that helped to warm up the body at the best pace. Then, colored powders flooded the streets, with launches at the arrival and along the entire route that created a unique holiday atmosphere. To conclude, a great water party on arrival to enjoy a well-deserved paella!

The flexible format of the event brought together people of all ages and profiles at a party with more than 400 attendees. The commitment to quality graphic material also made the impact of the event maximum, with numerous appearances in local and provincial media.
Above all we are left with the feedback of all the inhabitants of this small town of Las Palmas who saw how their Town Hall surprised them, bringing to their streets this popular party.
